According to a report in The Times Of India, Salman Khan has plans to construct a 19-storey hotel at Carter Road, Bandra, facing the sea. The building plan has been approved by the BMC (Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation), and construction work is expected to begin soon.
The hotel will be situated on a plot that previously housed a residential society called Starlet. The existing abandoned building on the plot will be demolished before construction can commence.
The hotel’s design includes three-level basements, with the first and second floors reserved for a café and restaurant. The third floor will house a gymnasium and swimming pool, while the fourth floor will serve as a service floor. The convention center will be located on the fifth and sixth floors, and the hotel rooms will occupy the seventh to nineteenth floors.
Interestingly, the plot is located just 200 meters away from Freeda One, the residence of fellow superstar Aamir Khan.
Initially, Salman Khan and his family had planned to redevelop the property into a residential building. However, the plan was changed, and a proposal was submitted to the BMC over a year ago in the name of Salman Khan’s mother, Salma Khan, who is the owner of the property.
On the work front, Salman Khan recently released the film “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan” on Eid, and his upcoming film “Tiger 3” is scheduled for release in theaters on Diwali 2023. Salman recently shot a scene with Shah Rukh Khan for the movie “Pathaan,” in which he has a special appearance.
