Earthquake measuring 6.1-magnitude struck the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan today afternoon.
The epicentre of the quake was located 35 kilometres south of Jarm, on Afghanistan-Tajikistan Border Region, at a depth of 191.2 kilometres as, per the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
The tremors were felt in Hindu Kush Region, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Eastern Uzbekistan and India.
In India, tremors were felt in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana and Delhi-NCR.
There is no report of loss of life or damage to property from India so far.
The tremor hit at 12.36 pm Indian Standard Time (IST).
Jarm has located 380 kilometres away from Afghanistan’s capital Kabul.
