Delhi honour killing: BJP leader Manoj Tiwari demands strong action

New Delhi: BJP chief of Delhi Manoj Tiwari, has raised his voice against honor killing of Ankit Saxena and also expressed his feeling that how shocking and awful this incident is. Not only has this he also demanded strict action against the people involved in this cruelty.

“Shocked and horrified at cold-blooded murder of Ankit Saxena. Culprits should be punished with the highest quantum,” Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari tweeted his emotions in a tweet, requesting the Delhi Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik to take strong action against the people involved in this awful incident.

Manoj Tiwari’s remarks came a day after Ankit Saxena who was a photographer by profession got killed in a case of honor killing in Delhi’s Khyala area on Thursday night.

The Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief also informed that he would visit the family of Saxena to pay his condolence.

Ankit Saxena was allegedly killed by the family of a woman (belonging to a different community) he was in a relationship with.

According to Delhi Police, the woman’s family was against their relationship as they belonged to different communities and had told him to end this relationship. As he didn’t listen to them he was brutally killed by culprits.
